Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Asunción is the main gateway, with connections via Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Panama and other hubs. Land borders connect with Argentina (at Encarnación and Asunción), Brazil (at Ciudad del Este) and Bolivia via the Chaco.
